'93 Civic EX Vehicle Speed Sensor
Hello, I need to get my Vehicle Speed Sensor replaced but it's going to cost over $200 and I'm not down for doing that at this moment. I've heard that a faulty VSS can cause transmission damage, is that true?
Re: '93 Civic EX Vehicle Speed Sensor
I bought a new VSS for $17 on Amazon a couple of months ago and it's working great so far. Very easy replacement.
As far as I know, the VSS will not allow the torque converter to lock up, but other than that not sure that it would cause damage.
