I have a 91 honda civic lx and ive been wondering for a few months if i should fix up the whole thing. Interior, paint job, and everything under the hood. In the end would it be worth it to fix it up? or would i be better off buying a another car?Thanks much!

well depends how much you want to spend, and the quality of the work. usually older cars have so many things that need replacing, its easier and cheaper to find a newer car.

i agree with gearbox. but, if you really like your car, like the body style, then it's up to you if you want to spend the money or buy another car. personally, the ej1 is my favorite civic, and i will spend the money (in time) to fix mine up. but it probably is easier to just buy another car if your not dead set on that one, depending on the amount of work needed.

I really like the honda you mentioned my cousin has one, but im not a fan of two doors but if it did come down to it id buy that car. As for the work of my car last time i got it check me i was told i would have to change the head gasket, replace my windshield, fix my driver side window, and fix my ac. Im not sure the price all that would come out to together.

Im willing to spend some money but im not sure how much im willing to spend. I mean in the last two years ive had to change my head gaskets and mechanic said i was gonna have to change them again soon and ive also had to fix my breaks as almost every tire had a different problem with the breaks.
