I want to buy a 4th generation hatchback. 1988-1991. What common problems should I be looking for when I check them out? Do they have any common rust problems? What is a reasonable price range for a car in decent condition? Is there a model or option package that is concidered particularly desireable?

Well i think that si model hatch is the way to go. Sunroof, painted bumpers, 5 speed tranny, 1600 motor, and one of the easiest model's to do most any swap to
