98 LX engine swap to V-Tec. Possible?

I have a 98 LX that through a rod through the front of the block. It had about 300,000 miles on it. It doesn't have any rust on it, and everything works well. I was planning on driving it another 50k+. I have another donor car that I got CHEAP, so I'm thinking about swapping the motors. The donor car is a 95 with a V-Tec (d16z6) in it. I haven't checked my LX's motor code, but I'm thinking it's a 1.5 liter. Is this swap possible?

I suppose using the donor's computer is a must, and probably even exhaust components?

Could someone shed some light on this for me?
