Performance chips?

Performance chips?
Do performance chips really up power , rpms, mpg and so on? some say they do some say they dont ,I need the facts. And if they do work what chips/chip should i get for my 93 si HB that wont hurt my engine cuz i am sure some chips out there arent up to spec if you catch my drift.

Chips don't work, all they do is increase the fuel to air mixture momentarily and within 100 miles the ECU will adjust and revert to its previous settings. Save your money for real performance mods not cheap junk.
