Just have a quick question: On the centre console on my dx, what is supposed to light up when you turn on the lights? When I turn on my lights only the heat dial (cold to hot), air recirculation, and strength (1-4) light up but the direction (legs windshield body) of where air flow is going does not light up. Attached is link to picture to clarify.
Are the direction indicators supposed to light up as well? If so what is wrong with mine? Thanks!

Is that the interior of your car, thats hella mint for a 1991!

Anyway, I have a 7th gen so its hard to say which ones are supposed to light up, but I imagine those are supposed to light up since they do on my year. Pop the covers off and the check if you can figure it out, I bet you'll find some burnt bulbs.

i have a 89 dx with an si dash and what have you. mine doesnt light up either. I dont think my buddies 91 dx does either.....i just flip the overhead light on to adjust it when necessary.

+1 to the burnt bulbs. I had that happen in my old car. Same part of the console too.

Before none of the lights worked including the heat control and strength of the blower..then I smacked it once and the lights came on. I notice that the dashboard has a thin strip of plastic that is illuminated by a bulb and the plastic carries the light similar to that of fibre optic. I don't know hmm
