1988 clutch install, can't get transaxle out...
Posting this for a friend, please forgive me if its vague for I've only worked on Ford Rangers.
Following the Haynes manual: removed bolts from bellhousing and gently pried it 1/2" from the block. No progress has been made since with firm prying and tilting of bellhousing. Is this common? Should enough pressure release the transaxle or has something not been removed properly?
