Have a 1992 Civic EX 1.6, it is currently having a 'not starting' issue, more not starting than starting right now. Has anyone heard of the issue being in the ignition switch? Did a continuity test on the end of the switch plug, as described in Hayes Repair Manual (page 12-6). It passes all except the key out position, should be continuity between the BLU/White & BLU/White (key & Gnd).
Have changed out distributor, distributer cap, fuel pump and the main relay. When it doesn't start, the fuel pump won't pump, can't get it out of park-brake isn't allowing and the check engine light doesn't go off; no issues with the lights, windows, etc. When it gets started it runs great!

May want to look into replacing the Coil and Ignitor, I've been told to replace both together bc they typically go out hand in hand
