All, I am at a lose. I have a 88 Honda Wagovan and pulled the d15b2 and dropped in a d15bvtec. Runs good, but boggs when you give it gas. You can let off the throttle a little and give it gas and it will kick in. It also boggs when I try to hit vtec. I need the help of experts. Please help!!!!!

Any codes? You might want to check the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap/rotor, injectors, fuel filter.

Tried your suggestions, but no luck. I may have not been accurate. It boggs at idle when you go full throttle. It boggs and surges, boggs and surges. If we pinch off the vacuum hose on the fuel reg on the the fuel rail. It will pick up and run. I even tried another P28, no change.
