I think it's in the distributor. If I'm not mistaken it's in the bottom next to the shaft seal.

It is located in the distributor. Though I think its not replaceable, I think you will have to buy a hole new distributor housing but you will still be able to use the ignition coil.

You can use one of the aftermarket ones they should do fine. The distributor housing should run you bout 100-150 or so. And for the coolant temp sensor, it is probably somewhere near the thermostat.

Re: need some help for 95 civic

I just bought a new distributor (TD42U) w life time warranty for my 95 EX on eBay for 100bux. I'll let you know how well it works when I get it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Be sure to call Honda 1st, give them your vin to verify the model # of what distributor your car needs.

02civicsi02 is correct, the coolant temp sensor is right next to the thermostat and mine required a 24mil long socket to change myself. I tried a used sensor and didnt work. A new sensor at Advance is $50.

Hope this helps!

Yeah; I replaced the coolant temp sensor in my 95 EX a couple months ago. DEFINITELY need the long socket to get the old one out. Otherwise a piece of cake to do- and I'm a newbie to working on cars.
