Ok so I have a 95 civic that had a d16z6 in it until it slung a rod through the block. I had a d15b7 block sitting in my shop so I decided to build a mini me engine. I completed the build put in the car and now I can't get it to fire !! So I checked to see if the distributer was getting power and it is I switched coils and all the internals from another distributer and it still will not fire. Oh I also tried different plug wires, cap, rotor and plugs. I don't understand why the distributer from my d16z6 engine was working fine when the engine blew and now it won't do anything. So i'm asking you guys for advise and tips on what to try next. Thanks in advance for all feed back.
