95 EX idle surge
95 EX idle surge
Hi..just bought a 95EX. When first started the idle will stay around 2000 rpm. After a minute of driving and i push in the clutch or at a red light, the idle will hunt around 900-1500 rpm. If i turn on the A/C this will usually go away.
While under the load the car runs perfect. What should i be looking for to clean or adjust.

Re: 95 EX idle surge
I Know this a late reply but maybe it will help someone else who searches a similar issue if its not helpful to you directly:
I had the same problem after getting my clutch replaced. Seems like the shop work resulted in an air bubble in the coolant system - the bubble gets caught at some points around the bends and restricts the flow causing idle surging and high temps - The fact that your AC seems to fix the problem would suggest that you are experiencing something similar. A proper bleed of the coolant system will release the trapped air and fix the problem immediately.
