89 eng help
I just got a 89 civic lx. it has a 5 speed. it runs and drives but has a idle surge between 1000 and 3000 rpms. you have to use 5x the normal force of shifting no power stearing the pump is just hanging. an it has a miss and tanks out a full tank of gas in 158 miles. what i need to know is what are the engs i can put in with no moding at all.. i dont feel like putting money into this one.
