Engine question

Im new here and I bought a 91 civic 2dr Hatch and im looking to do a engine swap. What would be the best bang for my buck? Im not looking to make a race car just would like more power instead of stock power. Also could use some suggestions on headlights, tailights, body kit, and exhaust. I want to give this honda a makeover.

Re: Engine question

Sounds like me, I just bought a '94 Civic DX Coupe & Plan on changing the motor in the spring and giving it a lil make over. Motor wise...I say a B18...180hp I believe, which is what I'm probably going to put in my car.

b18 swaps out of an integra ls are nice you meet the b18 block with a b16 head (vtec head) is really nice.. Dont put no stupid bodykits or anything on a EF old skool hatchy.. Thats to much rice for them.. a motor swap is the best thing

Re: Engine question

Yea bang for your buck is going to be with an LS b18. lil more power then what you have now and alot more torq. WoW torq on a honda did i realy say that. Check with www.hmo.com for a complete swap. But you would be vary happy with this swap. Cheap and easy.
I also agree no body kit.. Maybe look into www.Passwordjdm.com or www.JDMShit.com for some nice new make over stuff.
