Rep Power: 0 quick question about my key and my ignition/door locks
ok
i have a 95 civic ex coupe. sometimes my key wont turn the ignition. It works fine and starts everytime when it turns, but othertimes it simply will not turn.
do you think this has to do with the key being worn down? i had a new one made from walmart and it seems to work better at times, but still causes the same problem. it also affects my door locks too. the key sometimes wont turn left or right and other times works fine

spray some silicone lube into the lock cylinder and put the key in and out and turn it til it gets nice and slippery lol. worked wonders for me and now i barely have to touch the key and turns all the way thru.
