Rep Power: 0 89 civic 1.5 will not start after driven
After car has been started and driven once its turned off it takes about 3 minutes before I can start it again. My wifes friend has the exact model with the exact problem. I changed the cap & rotor, plugs & wires. No luck. Anyone else that has had this trouble, can you please let me know what you did to correct it?

100% sure its your main fuel relay.
its a pretty easy fix but its pricey, the main fuel relay is located under ur fuse panel to the very left of the drivers side. what you gotta do is take out your coin box, take off the fuse panel and then there will be another 10mm bolt right infront of you connecting most of the panel together i suggest taking this bolt off because it allows for more movability. Anyway once thats done its time for the hard part, this entire thing has to be done upside down. Unscrew your hood release again for an easier access and to the left of the hood release will be a 10mm nut. This is the only nut you have to unscrew but you need a smaller ratchet in order to unscrew it, also like mine yours may be some what rusted out so you have to giver but not too hard or else it breaks. then once thats done you have to maneuver around to get the main relay out and replace it. Depending on how much longer you want to have the car you can buy a used one. Mine cost around 95$ cad.
