im wantin to swap my obd0 d15b2 outta my 91 hatch for a d16z6 i know i need the motor and tranny but will i need to swap any thing eles such as fuel system or ecu or what not n e input would be greatly appreciatedhttps://www.civicforums.com/forums/i...ilies/help.gif

well you are gonna need a new ecu cause the d15b2 does not have and the d16z6 does
so the ecu will need to e changed which means you will most likely have to get a new wiring harness or james rig yours lol

I think what Shorty is trying to say is the D15B2 is not a VTEC engine, where the D16Z6 is. You could probably run the car without changing over the ECU, however you aren't going to see any performance increase. A non-VTEC ECU won't hit VTEC.

My car is an OBD1 and I've got a D16Z6 to go in it. I bought a wiring harness that will account for the O2 sensor and help wire in the VTEC. There may be one to help you out too. I got mine here: http://www.rywire.com/store/index.php
