94 LX sedan
Does anyone know how to remove the gauge cluster in the civic? I want to add the reverse glow gauge faces but dont know where to beging since the bezel sreatches across to the vents. Any help on this would be appriciated.
Also I just purchased a set of tociko shocks/struts & lowering springs 1.5" drop all around. Does anyone know or think I'll need a camber kit? t

Hello,
I would buy a haynes manual, available @ advance auto,auto zone,etc.
This will give you visual steps to remove the bezel without breaking your vents.
As for the camber kit, I have used the same tokice strut/spring combo and have gotten better tire life from adding skunk2 upper control arms(red ones)in the front and skunk2 or ingalls in the rear. Make sure that you get the car aligned immediately by a good alingment shop that does 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT. Just tell them what you have added on the car, so they will know. Most of the alignment machines cpu's don't account for this so your alignment guy needs to know so he can do it right.
PS-DONT FORGET! Put the dust covers that come from the stock struts(black sleeves that slide over the top of the struts) I know they don't match the pretty new paint on your tokicos, but IT WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY if you don't. Not to mention wear your struts out much faster.
Hope this helps,
peace,B

Re: 94 LX sedan
Ok. So now the suspension is in, looks and rides fine exept When I turn to the left my tires seem to be rubbing against the plastic wheel wells. Which I find riduculous b/c im only using 14" tires. Does anyone have a solution for this (besides raising back to original height)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
