oil leak, need help

Hi,
I have a stock 1991 hondsa civic DX from my uncle and it looks that is leaking from the left side of the valve cover so I star taking the valve cover out and i notes that the spark plug and the far left side of the engine looking from the front of the car has oil in the threads, i talk to my uncle and he told me that he don't have a explanation since he just change the valve cover gasket, the leak looks that is coming from the bottom of the distributor if that is what you call it, sorry like i say i don't know to much about cars, my uncle just give it to me to go to school, i apreciated any coments, thank you for the reply

Re: oil leak, need help

sounds if you may have 2 differnt leaks.

1st beeing the leak in to the spark plug tube; need to replace the tube seals. if you have the valve cover off. flip it over and look at the holes in it u will see round seals there that will cause this to happen.

2nd leak of to the dizzy side. more then likely it is going to be the dizzy o-ring. its easy and a cheap fix.

Hope this helps you alil.
