which year civic?

My sister really likes my civic but unfortunately she can't afford a new one. She has about $6,000 saved but doesn't necessarily want to spend it all on the car. Which year and model civic will get her the best deal assuming the mileage is under 100K?

RSXtypeIvtec is on a distinguished road
probably a 5th gen civic, or an early 6th gen
assuming '95-98' civic

Go for the 6th gens...I love my 97. Got a good deal too: 58K miles, bought it for 5900. It was a DX, but for that price, it would've been a sin not to pick it up.

PS: You can find 5th gens kicking around, but their mileage will be considerably closer to 100K - luckily, they've been proven to be tride and true in terms of longevity...

6 G's is a nice down payment on a 7th gen. Tell her to get a job, put the 6 grand as a down payment, and pay the notes.

AHHH GET A 5TH GEN!!!!

She could get pretty much any 5th gen for 6g. I recommend the frost white EX coupe, or an Si, same engine, but that's just me.

for 6k, I would recommend a 94-95 (5th gen) civic. the 96's are the first year out for 6th gens, and similar to the 2k1's, they are sometimes plagued with problems. if getting a 6th gen, I would recommend 98-00.
