Best fuilds?
Best fuilds?
Hello fellow mates, title says it all. I have a 1998 Honda Civic Lx and I been using nothing but Honda fluids. Example, for my coolant I use hondas type 2, steering fluid is also honda etc.. you get the point. Anyways an oil change it due and I don't know what fluid I should use for that. Is there one specifically best for my car and if so what?
Thanks in adavance.

What have you been using up to this point?
What does your oil cap say on it?

It doesn't say "710"? :P It's a 98? D16 or D15? I would personally run 5w30, unless you live in the desert or the arctic. Whereabouts are you?

It's been forever since I saw one of those older cars, I was expecting it to have an oil viscosity printed on the cap.
5w30 was the original spec but 5w20 is also acceptable.
