I picked up a 99 civic yesterday...this thing is super ugly lol. The original color was silver, but it was painted yellow sometime in its existence. The dude I just bought it from spray painted 85% of the car black and it looks like ****..anyway I can peel the black spray paint and not mess up the yellow?

if the black is plastidip, then yes. If not, highly unlikely.

Yea, if the previous owner used regular spray paint you will need to sand it off. Would be easier to just sand all of the paint off and start fresh. If plastidip was used then it will be easier.

No he used, spray paint. Its all good though looks like I get to practice on my sanding skills.
