1999 civic ex help!!!

1999 civic ex help!!!
So today I was driving in the north ha mtns,and my girlfriend hit the gear shifter with her knee and it grinded really bad,I immediately put it back in d4 and now this issue has arrived.
Seems like 1st and 4th gear are gone,speedo does not work,no acceleration at all and the d4 light is constantly blinking. I feel like the transmission is shot,but before I do an early swap I'd like to finalize this notion. Any help is appreciated.
