Shift linkage

Hey guys just a quick question. I recently blew my motor in my 1998 lx. Auto. Bought a different motor(1.6y8 vtec stick). But I wanted to know can I use a shift linkage out of a 98 hatch? And what other components are needed to complete the swap?

Re: Shift linkage

If the block is the same block you can bolt that to your transmission.

Auto to manual swaps are a huge jobs... but it is possible, I swapped my 2002 from auto to manual.

here`s a sixth gen parts list

and here`s the 7th gen diy I fallowed, it has pictures, the process should be almost identical.
