N1YDP is an unknown quantity at this point
Vtec or non vtec
i have a 1999 honda civic ex.on wikipedia it says its a vtec but it does not say it on the valve cover like my del sol did. so is it a vtec or not.

Look for this little guy somewhere near the motor. I think it's always in the same spot, but not positive. But this is what will tell you if it is or is not.

^^this or you can find your engine model near the exhaust manifold. To the left, I believe. You can then verify if it's VTEC online via the Google!
