I have a quick question one of my friend asked me for some help swaping body and mechanical parts

I think everything will swap but I will have to swap core supports

99 4 door civic Lx
Car was slightly hit in front
Needs good fender and radiator
Car has 268k automatic

We found a 98 civic dx hatch 5 speed at a parts yard complete but hit good (not fixable) in rear
We started it up and drove it (or crab walked it)
Car has 130k

I believe I can swap engine transmission ecu put in clutch peddles and all that jazz and I am good to go
Do I need to change the subframe like you do in the 7th gens? Is there something I am missing

As far as hood and fenders from what I read I have to change out the core support and both fenders hood and bumber an lights to downgrade the front end

This is a commuter car no power mods would be done
While I had the engine out I would probally replace clutch and throw out bearing timing belt and water pump

Not that I'm aware of.....7th gen has a full front subframe, 6th gen only has a half frame.

I can't really tell you anything else, this ain't my bag.
