Title says it all. I like the looks of the type r spoiler more. And i love the fact that it doesn't have a brake light to wire (i'm so lazy, i know ). So i was wondering if i can put it on my 98 Civic coupe. I'm not interested in getting aftermarket since i only want original Honda/Acura parts.

I think you need to measure you trunk width verse the teg. It looks like the tegs trunk is wider and the spoiler looks to use the entire trunk width. I would say measure. If the widths are the same then I would guess you can make it work might need to use some rubber shims on the surface where the trunk meets the spoiler to get it to sit right but I don't see why you couldn't make it happen. If you buy one used and it doesn't work just sell it u won't loose very much if you buy it right. Just my two cents
