is the camo fad over?
I picked up a 98 civic a few days ago and he body is kind of ruff. The PO painted it flat black and it looks like crap so I was thinking about painting it camo. Was never a fan of the green and brown so I was going to do it in blue white and gray. Has this this trend faded away? I have not seen it in some time and I don't want to make the car look any dumber then it already looks. Let me know that you think

Here's my advice for anyone modding a car: screw what other people think. As long as you like it, do it. Plus, modding is all about making you stand out from the crowd.
Personally, I think a blue camo look would prolly look kinda cool, but I'd do it with either a plastidip look or a satin clear. Just make it look clean and keep the color scheme going throughout the car. Not saying you should camo everything, but keep blue/white/black (and possibly gunmetal, I think that'd be a nice touch) colors and accents going on all around. My car's rocking a blue/black/gunmetal/carbon fiber theme going on, just not in the camo sense.
You should take a look at the US Navy TFU (task force uniform) and use that as color inspiration. It's a digi print, which you don't have to follow (and quite frankly would be more of a pain in the *** to pull off), but for a camo theme, would work nicely. I know for a fact that the navy used an ink blot camo as a prototype before going with the digital kind. But I digress.

Also, here's the Navy TFU pattern. Looks a bit like the digi print pattern you just posted up.
