Re: exhaust & intake

Intake: K&N or AEM. AEM is cheaper, and has a higher quality filter.

Header: DC Sports. Only CARB legal one I know of.

Cat: Just keep the stock one. Because of California's regulations, you normally can't get away with a high flow one. Magnaflow makes a legal one, but I'm not sure if it flows better.

Exhaust: Regardless of your exhaust noise level, you can still get a ticket. But one of the quietest for Civics is the Apexi WS2. It sounds very nice. But it's not cheap, because it is a quality part.

Re: exhaust & intake

ok thanks. In California if your exhaust is over something like 95db you can get a ticket. I was thinking of buying a db meter to keep in my car in case of cop and thats why i'd like one under 95db do u know of one that is said to be under that

Re: exhaust & intake

If the police want to, they can give you a ticket regardless for "Modified exhaust".
You can fight it, but regardless, if they want to, you'll end up with a ticket.

I live in Cali with a header, test pipe, and HKS axleback, just don't be a jerk while driving and you should be fine.
