Knock sensor replacement 98 civic
i have a 98 civic ex auto, been running the knock sensor code and was hoping to fix it myself instead of the shop..... can any1 give me tips on the steps and location of the knock sensor.
Also been wanting to change the whole exhaust sytem. should i shop it or DIY

Knock sensor is under intake manifold on firewall side almost square in middle near the oilfilter, its easier to access from underneath the car reaching up, exhaust is also a simple fix dependant on how inclined you are mechanically

I am new to car mechanics. Hardest thing ive done so far was change brakes n rotors. , so the knock sensor is on the back of the engine?
