Removing Front Bumper and Installing New One
I am new to the Forums, and am hoping through these forums I will gain a bit of knowledge on and restoring my car as well as some performance tweaks. I have a 97 Dx Coupe, I want to replace my front bumper do to it having an aftermarket lip that looks like it was put on by a 2 year old, and replace it with a stock front bumper. I am curious as to how hard this is. Is it a lengthy process? Or is a do it where ever you are kind of job?
Is this a +karma kind of forum if so, I am very happy to dish it out for people who will give me their expertise.

Re: Removing Front Bumper and Installing New One
easy to do
tools required
Phillips screw driver
8mm socket (optional)
10mm socket
pick/flat head/ needle nose (something to remove plastic lock clips).
first remove the plastic lock clips from under the hood, by pulling the centers out first
second undo the bolts in the wheel wells (one on each side) you can use a phlips or an 8mm socket your choice.
third under the bumper there should be two 10 mm bolts and two Philips screws.
lastly remove the bumper (i find it easier to start the sides first and pull it off.
putting back on is reverse process, there are metal hangers under the headlights that you need to clip the bumper back in (helps line things up)
shouldn't take more the 30 mins to do
