96 Honda Civic rear end damage

Hey first time poster here, my friend has offered to give me his 96 honda civic if I can repair it. It got rear ended a few weeks ago. I was wondering from the pics what you guys think? Is it worth fixing? Thanks and sorry if i posted in the wrong section.

Re: 96 Honda Civic rear end damage

I was hit, with less damage then that, and the body shop told me that the frame was bent and that the car wasn't as safe if it were to get into another accident due to the structural integrity being compromised. Take it a shop and see.
