2000 Civic wont lock

My 2000 Civic wont always lock when I hit the switch. I have no idea whats wrong with it. I now have to fix it, as my car was broken into last night. the buggers (want to use a much stronger word but I wont) just rummaged through my glovebox and took my work bag and my D&D bag from the trunk and dumped them out and took nothing. What would cause it to not lock. I have a command start thta no longer works, the remote is dead. It sometimes locks but usually it doesn't. Is it a fuse, something in the door (an actuator), or something related to the command start. On a side note I just got myself a brand new command start with alarm and I need to get it installed. any advice and help is appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

Re: 2000 Civic wont lock

Hold the power lock switch down while moving the door open-close. If it suddenly works while the door is moving, then the wiring probably is broken in the door jamb.

Otherwise, a wiring diagram and some logical testing may be needed.
