Which year would be the best to go with. From sites online i see that the 6th gen has some good toys and nice looking parts, but i want something i can build and drive on a regular basis. Any advice would be lovely. The NSX is getting old. hahaha

I'd agree; the 6th gen is one of the best generations because of the huge aftermarket support and ease of finding parts. EG's (5th Gens) are great projects for racing and track too.
I see money wouldn't be much of a problem for you considering you own an NSX; so a satisfying 6th gen build won't be too difficult to your pockets.

If I was more patient and aware of Civics before I bought mine, I would've went for the higher end trims if available
Assuming you live in the USA. Look out for an EX coupe or sedan, or even an SI coupe for that matter if you're looking for luxuries like power accessories and vtec engines. The hatchback although doesn't come with a vtec engine (CX or DX models) I'm pretty sure you'll easily swap the motor anyways.

2000 civic si if you can find one in good stock condition and have a locked garage to keep it from getting stolen. but dont park it anywhere like stores or mall. it would only be for fun, not daily driver.
