How difficult is it to replace the door handles?

My door handles on my 4 door 99 LX are black and faded. I found a deal on a nice set of oem painted ones on ebay. How easy would it be to do the swap? I know I have to pull the door panels, but after that is it pretty straight forward or are they a pain to get to? Also what about my key cylinders? Can I just swap them over to the new handles? Thanks

After you are done swapping them you will never want to even lift a wrench on your car ever again. Seriously... the door handle is threaded into a metal pole that is attached to your door locking assembly. You have to disassemble the whole door lock just so you can unscrew it off inside the door.

Yes they're a direct swap, and as far as the key cylinders go they are also a direct swap, and are attached to a smaller metal pole that is attached to the door locking assembly. I ripped mine out so a thief couldn't get in my car with a shaved key. I have electric door locks with brand new actuators so I never worried about it failing on me. But yes everything will swap over, but I am warning you it is a HUUUUUUUUUUGE pain in the ***.
