Automatic trans gear indicator light not working when headlights are on
Hello,
I just bought a 99 EX automatic CIVIC and I have a simple question about the gear indicator light.
When im driving during the day, these light works perfectly and all the lights, P R N D4 D3 and 2, but, as sooner a i light up the head lights, i mean, when i rotate the left lever and the lights in my dashboard turns on, the gear indicator lights simply does not light up.
Is this a problem or they should not light up?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

They should dim a bit, but not go completely out.
Try adjusting the brightness of the dash lights?
