Anything aside from the reservoir and the hoses anything powersteering related is gonna be huge $$$. Rack's never go back unless the car has flood damage. Knowing the idiocy of your prior owner, he probably just took the belt off and drained the fluid. Just refill the resi, get the proper belt, and you should be good to go.

The only hard part to find in good condition is the rack. Go get one from the junkyard and re-build it, any '96-'00 HX, LX, or EX will have P/S. Then all you need is the pump, hoses, bracket, and belt. I wouldn't trust a junkyard pump or belt, get a re-built pump and new belt (maybe hoses too).

I have a 98 Civic LX with a broken rack.Planning on replacing it but will it make front wheels wobble n wear front tires uneven?
