i have a 96 civic that had a y8 but spun rod bearing so i rebuilt with the y7 block crank, pistons, etc. .02 higher compression so i have no interference probs. all new rings gaskets bearings etc. i have a knock when i press clutch pedal but only for a few seconds till it warms up then no noise. also i have a knock at 3000 rpm but only in gear. im at a loss. at a idle it has no noise at all with the clutch pedal up. when i push it i hear the noise which is uncommon. also i did search for about a hour and found 3399874 threads on noise when clutch is let out. thats throwout bearing but my throwout has pressure on it when i hear the noise so i dunno. thanks
