Cig lighter and hvac lights not working...
im new to the civic scene. my GF picked a 98 EX. the cig lighter doesnt work and the hvac lights dont come on. i had heard something about the aftermarket head unit being the culprit. not that big of a prob but itd be nice to use the cig lighter to charge devices.
If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Check fuses, check the lighter socket, check the connector behind it, and probably burned out bulbs.
