An Oil leak that I can't see

2000 EX - D16Y8, 5spd.

What's around the alternator area of the engine that could leak oil? I can see just under the car enough (no jack or lift to use right now) to see that the block is oil soaked just behind the alternator area. The valve cover gasket is new, and so is the oil pan gasket. Both front seals have also been done. Was doing fine for a while, but losing oil again, and it definitely looks to be coming from that area while driving. It doesn't drip while sitting... Loses about half a quart every 2-3 weeks or so.

Thanks.

Re: An Oil leak that I can't see

Noticed that my coolant was low as well... So I got back down to look under with a flashlight, and was finally able to see a little clearer what was all on the block.. It was an oil and coolant mixture (no coolant lines run through the area). The oil and water haven't mixed really that I can see in the engine or the radiator.. there was some slight condensation on the oil caps underside, but it MIGHT be due to the weather lately.. Haven't overheated either.. so it looks to be pretty much an external leak that I was able to catch early.. Will get a final inspection done to see if it Might be a coincidental leak.. meaning if there's a freeze plug in that area leaking with an oil leak nearby by chance.. but it doesn't look to be that right now.
