Do you have any mechanical inclination at all? You'll also need an extensive amount of tools and a helms manual (and a friend goes along way) at the very least if you want to pull the motor. Instead of going straight to tearing up the motor why not look at any other possible alternative... like checking the tune? maybe you had a bad tank of gas?

Re: pulling motor, pistons, and rings!

Well, i have gone through more than one tank of gas and it still has white smoke. but yes I am going to retune it too but i am looking for a cord for my Blue GReddy box and not sure if the tune is off because the guy i bought it from didn't have the cord either!

I have someone thats helping me tho! and he has tools and stuff to do it! but first i need to learn to do it! i think i might do an engine swap! but not sure what type of engine to swap in that would be better and not take many modifications! Any ideas?

I will just have to do some more research on pulling the engine and find some good steps!
