Replacing Steering wheel on 98 Civic
So this is my first car, and the steering wheel is in terrible condition. Really don't like touching it, let alone grabbing it, and I hate how thick it feels with a steering wheel cover, so I started looking for aftermarket steering wheels. (like the sparco ones) The only thing I didn't like about them is the fact that I lose an airbag.
So I looked into a steering wheel like this one: http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...oducts_id=7174
Cheap, looks great, and allows me to use the airbag (right?).
My question is: Will it work on my 1998 1.6L Civic? I believe its a DX(That's what it said when I looked up the VIN online, but it says "Coupe EX" on my ownership slip.. lol) If it's only compatible with 01-05 models, can anyone recommend me an alternative?
Also will I need to buy an aftermarket Steering Wheel hub to make it work? This is my first modification so sorry for the noob questions. Hoping someone can help me!
