So I changed my atf for the first time since buying my 6th gen ex (purchased with about 157,800 miles). There was heavy accumulation of metallic debris on the plug (see pics for before and after). What would you do in reaction to this? Full flush? More frequent changes? I'm thinking about changing it every 5000 miles for the next two servicings.

If it hasn't been changed in a long time, then I wouldn't be concerned in the least. I would probably do a drain and fill with your next two oil changes to get the fluid fresh and after that an annual single drain and fill.
