1996 Civic ECU Help!

I have 1996 civic coupe, The engine is a D16Y7 however i need to find the right computer for my car since the ecu is a P75 manual(96-00 OBD-2 Integra LS/GS) which makes my car extremely slow like its being held back! I put in a P2E automatic (96+ OBD-2 Civic DX Coupe) and it makes my car fast however I get check engine light... Which is the right ECU for my d16y7 engine? P2E manual?

Don't quote me but, I believe that you have to get pins jumped in the ECU. Find the local Import shop and see how much they'll do it for or research other sites (Honda-tech, Civicclub, etc.) and do it yourself as I've seen this info on other sites.
