Re: my 98 ex build
ok this is it now after i got it home and striped all the broken **** off and bent back the core support it was pushed back to the engine. I guess he whet under the crv when he hit it. also i have to fix his bondo attempt on the driver quarter panel

Re: my 98 ex build
I am surprised that his insurance compnay did not write the car off as a total loss and send it to a junk yard given the body damage. Are you going to have to get it passed via chassis inspection to put it back on the road again? if you have to do that here in canada they put a "rebuilt status" on the car's title.
Re: my 98 ex build
yea well my buddy had some super cheep insurance and they didnt do anything to his car. so it still has the original clean title so i just to put it in my name and smog it witch is easy because im a smog tech. the engine is pretty go just messed up the radiator, fan and the radiator hoses.
Re: my 98 ex build

Re: my 98 ex build
Ok, well i got an update i have got all the parts and just hung them on so i can drive it. there is a few gaps the i need to fix but all and all its not bad. this is just stage 1. so let me know what you think

Re: my 98 ex build
Try to not go any thicker than a 1/4 inch any thicker and you risk cracking down the road and ruining the paint job, when you mix it fold it so that you avoid any air pockets as it will show when you are sanding it and make more work. Have a few pieces of cardboard handy for drips and allow it to dry a bit before trying to form it to the panel, allow it to dry then hit it with some primer, then board sand the high/low spots will show very quickly and you will need to fill those more to make it an even surface, doing the sanding and bondo will be 80% of the work the paint is the easy part.
Re: my 98 ex build
ok well im all done i got the car back from the paint shop. so i spent $400 on the car and $1200 in all the repair so let me know what you think

Re: my 98 ex build
I just bought a 99 civiv dx (salvaged), its front end has been fixed but the headlights are not flush with the hood and bumper. Is there any suggestions on how to make it look somewhat "normal"? It looks kinda of how the finished product looks on this thread. Any ideas on getting rid of those lil gaps?!
