Re: 2000 Honda Civic Submodels

its pretty much a dx with some added features the dx didnt get. i dont have the full list but a/c was one of the addons. maybe some power stuff too. not nearly enough to make it an lx tho. vp=value package.

Dx has power locks and AC. some dx models came without it. The hx is the lowest of the low on sub models with not even an option for that stuff

Re: 2000 Honda Civic Submodels

*most* parts are the same for dx/vp/lx and even some parts for ex will work. the only diffrence is the exhaust, possibly egr valve, and few sensors and stuff. as far as modding goes, dx/vp = lx for simplicity. same engine, same exhaust, etc.

So look for LX Parts, not DX? Or either one doesn't matter?

Anything ex/lx/dx will work with each other. Vp has the same base engine as the dx but with the vtec clean burner thing. You can switch any parts out between the 4.... usually lol

Re: 2000 Honda Civic Submodels

yeah searching dx or lx should work fine for most things. the ex has too many different things so i would ask if you are in doubt if something will fit.
