D16Y8 - Missing Screw on top?

Hi All,

I just noticed that the top of my engine has this threaded hole where it looks like something should be screwed in. Is something missing in the pic below? This is a 96 Civic EX.

Thanks!

Re: D16Y8 - Missing Screw on top?

I am pretty sure that there is nothing that is suppose to be there. I have seen alot of these motors with that. There are a couple on my valve cover that have no bolts in them but they are suppose to be there cause some other cars with your motor might need it for like a bracket to hold something. Though down to the right there is another missing it looks like.
