Wondering if you could please give me a parts run-down so I know what all to order for upgrading a stock rear/front sway bar. I have a '96 Civic 4-dr DX and the stock suspension is just too mushy.

Also, perhaps you can point me in the right direction for front suspension upgrades and the right rim size to go along with it and any other stock upgrades you might could recommend. She has just over 222k miles so I'm looking at an engine swap fairly soon I think.

Maybe someone has an FAQ or comparable resource for performance add-ons somewhere? In the near future, I think, in this order, this is what I'm wanting to do:

1) Suspension upgrade - and changing to the right rim size at the same time of course

2) Non-fart-can-exhaust upgrade (not interested in sound as much as breathability/performance)

3) Engine swap to something with at least 160bhp (so I'm not tapping my foot, getting impatient as I give it some gas)

This is a daily driver but I may do the occasional auto-x and later decide to get another car and make this one my full-time auto-x car.

Or, maybe I should skip all this and simply go with a coupe? Would I save more money/time/hassle by going to the right chassis the first time or what would you all advise? I really love my car so I'd just keep it as my DD if needed. She just needs more power/suspension tweaks.
