What does this little box tell me that sits right under your speedo and what color should it be? I keep up with the maintenance on my vehicle but just wondering if I need to some how reset it or what?

That link above is for the 7th gen.

For the 6th generation basically it is an oil change reminder, green is good, yellow getting close and red means it is like 7500 miles which is extreme.

You can reset it by putting your key in the little slot next to it and push in, to turn green.

The maintenance required light is to remind you of an oil change.
