Motor dies occationnaly?

Solution : https://www.civicforums.com/forums/7...huts-down.html

So my Civic 1998 EX 1.6L made me panic this afternoon : I was driving at 80 KM/H when the RPM and odometer needles went to zero and I lost all acceleration.

The brakes and power steering were working properly.

I stopped, shut down the car and all was back to normal.

Also, I don't know if this is related but my handbrake dashboard light seemed to light-up randomly. Sometimes it keeps on , sometimes it don't.

Help?

Thanks.

Vince
